We are committed at Blair to providing a safe environment for all students, including peak times during the day such as, the drop off in the mornings and the pickup in the afternoon.

The purpose of this document is to assist you while driving in the vicinity of our school

The following actions are unsafe and against driving and pedestrian best practices:

O Parking in the traffic lane on Marengo, Allendale or Wallis. 
        (You will need to circle the block if the traffic is backed up). 
O Making a U-turn on Marengo, Allendale or Wallis after dropping off or picking up your children.



Pedestrians will cross Marengo Ave towards the High School or towards the Allendale park 
by using the crosswalk only.



Parking is allowed only in assigned areas on both sides of Marengo Ave in front of the High School.

 
Additional reminders:

• To drop off the students in the morning or pick up the students in the afternoon, please, arrive before 7:40 a.m. and no earlier than 2:55 p.m.
• If you need to speak with a school staff, please park and walk in after dismissal.
• No skateboarding on school property at any time during the school day.
• Please, look in both directions and make eye contact with the driver before you start crossing the street using the crosswalk.
• Do not stop or gather at the entrance of the driveway to the staff parking lot. School staff, other students and visitors need to have the driveway clear to get access into the parking lot.
